Brief
Hyre was founded to disrupt the freelancing status quo, they’ve changed the way people work and freelance – making it faster and fairer than other well-known platforms.


At ICON BrandingStudio our goal was, not just creating a dynamic digital experience but rather we wanted to build a new design system and brand experience to disrupt the current freelancing scene.


Our challenge was to take “Hyre” beyond being just a freelancing platform, and to help them build a stand-out brand to make it real for everyone. A reimagined brand for a whole world of Freelancers and talents made by people for people. Whoever they are, wherever they go.

Brand StrategyThe brand strategy was based around a singular, universal concept: changing the way people work. This idea permeates every facet of the fresh identity. A vibrant and dynamic brand persona emerges visually and verbally, offering an empowering brand experience that propels individuals to stay ahead of the curve, enabling them to use “Hyre” platform to discover better ways of doing business for good, on their own terms.


Digital experience 
The new design system prioritizes accessibility, and clarity in every design choice. We painstakingly recreated and designed Hyre’s entire library of iconography, illustrations, and typography, subjecting them to rigorous testing to ensure their universal understanding. Our aim is to create an atmosphere of acceptance and fellowship, fostering a sense of belonging where each individual feels valued, understood, and rewarded as part of Hyre’s platform.

Tone of VoiceTo ensure global understanding, we adopted a straightforward witty with a bit of humour tone of voice that transcends language barriers.
